Why do we care so much about these things?
Money, success, being accepted by the mass...
They don't define us. Not completely.
So many times I've heard: "If I fail this test and if I fail this year I will be ruined!"
So much pain over something, which actually isn't such an enormous problem.
"Okay, you fail, then you stand up and go on."
Not easy I guess, when society waits around the corner to judge you.
And it doesn't stop only with this barrier, there are many more.
Everything started with a problem. Doesn't matter which one, when or where.
Imagine a difficult situation which was insanely difficult for you, which changed you, the first one, THE ONE.
Now imagine the second one, which has hurt you even more.
There is the third one also, right?
We can go on, can't we?
The thing is, how problems go on, you either stop worrying at all because you know that you'll face it anyway or you become frightened even more.
I've asked people how they feel most of the time, keeping in mind that we are young people, full of life, students and so on...
They feel fear, excitement, joy, sorrow.
They stress about college, boyfriends and girlfriends.
They feel chaotic and trapped in their own body when hard times occur.
Monotony, tiredness, the feeling that they cannot finish anything they had planned.
And routine.
Routine stands firmly on the ground. How can we cope with it?
Basically, whatever I wrote will be in vain.
Because, your head is the only problem.
It's like the video game called life and you are the main character in it.
And guess what, your head has the controller in "its hands".
It's strange how this puzzle gets solved when you realize that you are in charge.
Not only that you can begin by saying to yourself "Okay, it's my fault, I admit it."
but also "Okay then, but how can I improve it?".
So many times I've lost in that GAME and so many times I will lose, even though I've realized it's up to me (or so I thought).
Still, I end up being surprised and tortured again by my own thoughts.
Overthinking. Definitely my biggest talent.
People with this sort of "problem" should find their moments in tiny occupations
which warm their soul. It can be literally everything; other people, pets, reading books, dancing, singing loudly even though they can't sing.
It seems so easy when you try to list it in your head but of course hard times will try to prevent you to do them. Don't let them.
Remember, your head, your game, only the harder level.
